About Reyns Advocaten<\/h2>\n

Reyns Advocaten was founded in 1990 by Ivan Reyns. In 2014 the partnership was expanded with the addition of Nils Verschaeren, followed by Alexandre Bastenier in 2016. At the beginning of 2024, Tom Cielen and Nicolas Verhelle were also appointed partners. Step by step, this growth story has evolved into a medium-sized firm with a close-knit team of 25 motivated lawyers and paralegals, supported by an effective administration team. The size of the firm allows us to enjoy the best of both worlds, providing a quality service in almost every niche of the law whilst still staying close to our clientele and building a personal relationship with each of them.<\/p>\n

The firm has always focused on a commercial clientele, providing them with a full service. We actually consider ourselves to be their legal extension, assisting them from start-up to the transfer of their business. We play an active role in advising, mediation and negotiation, as well as litigation.<\/p>\n

Sustainability of
its office buildings<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

In the construction process of our new offices in Melsele, “green” techniques were taken into account. The roofs are fitted with solar panels, heat is extracted from the earth by means of geothermal drilling for heating and the car park is equipped with various electric charging stations so that employees, but also our clientele, are encouraged to drive electric vehicles as much as possible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All files can be consulted digitally in the cloud by our employees. Every year, we strive to reduce the number of physical files so that we can use less paper.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Doing our bit for reforestation projects<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Our firm is keen to support the initiatives developed by Go Forest. With every new file that we open in the office, we provide for one tree to be planted

in Congo, as part of a reforestation project to support initiatives including biodiversity and CO2 reduction. This means that we plant more than 1,000 trees every year! Be sure to take a look at the different projects that Go Forest organises.<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Every year we make efforts to support various charities. A consistent commitment is a contribution during the “Warmste Week” initiative for SOS CHILDREN’S VILLAGES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
