New partners for Reyns Advocaten

We are proud to announce the promotion of Mr. Tom Cielen and Mr. Nicolas Verhelle to partner. We welcome Tom and Nicolas in their new role and are confident they will be a valuable addition to the management team.

Tom Cielen – a trusted pillar

Tom Cielen has been a trusted pillar at Reyns Advocaten for more than 20 years. He heads the criminal law department and has also further specialized in business and company law. His extensive knowledge and experience enable him to advise and assist clients on a wide range of legal matters. Thanks in part to his commitment and expertise, Reyns Advocaten has grown into the renowned firm it is today.

Nicolas Verhelle – homegrown talent

Nicolas Verhelle started his career as a trainee lawyer under the wing of Ivan Reyns. He is primarily active in company law, with a strong focus on business acquisitions and advising shareholders and directors. Nicolas is exceptionally passionate and driven in his field and has undergone an impressive growth trajectory in a short period of time. His expertise, dedication, and ambition took him from trainee lawyer to partner in less than 7 years!

Reyns Advocaten offers opportunities and invests in the growth of its employees. My ambition is to further expand the corporate law – M&A department and help Reyns Advocaten grow into a structure of forty to fifty specialized lawyers. To further expand our services and make collaborations more efficient, we also have plans to open an office in my home city of Ghent. This is only the beginning.”
