It is with regret, but also with pride, that we recently said goodbye to Jessica Bonneux, as she is leaving not only Reyns Advocaten but also the legal profession. After more than 6 years at our firm and 12 years at the bar, Jessica is taking her career in a different direction. On Tuesday, 27 June, she took the oath as a judge at the Enterprise Court of Bruges and Dendermonde.

Ivan Reyns: “I look back with tremendous pleasure on the nearly 7 years she worked at Reyns Advocaten. From day one, we knew that Jessica was an exceptional talent. In a short time, she developed the family law department into the benchmark it is today. In addition, she was also passionate about insolvency law and one of the driving forces within this department.

We will miss her expertise, her almost unparalleled knowledge of family law and insolvency law, her perfectionism, her unwavering drive, but equally her care, her enthusiasm and her engaging personality!

I would also like to reassure our clients that all ongoing matters will be transferred to our other family law specialists, who will continue handling your case with the necessary care and dedication.”

The entire Reyns Advocaten team sincerely wishes Jessica all the very best, and we take comfort in the knowledge that she will excel in her new role as a judge.

Thank you for everything, Jessica!
